I've giving our homeowner a little time to wake up, but I just can't see raking through the snow! I'm officially canceling this. Let's plan on rescheduling for next week. Breaking News! (or is it Raking News?)
One of our homes is not ready for us to come rake. I have scheduled another raking day for Saturday, 11/23. So...
- We don't need as many people for the 11/16 day, if you want to drop out (hopefully at least 10 folks will still rake on the 16th)
- We need rakers for 11/23
It's time again for one of our favorite events, Rake Up Boise!
BAS participates every year. Here's how it usually goes:
We get 2-3 houses assigned and we split into groups of 8-10 people. So we need a team captain for each group.
We meet in a place (or places) near each home and carpool to the house to rake.
Afterwards, each time goes out for breakfast. Normally we're done with breakfast by Noon-ish.
I have registered BAS with NHS, and am waiting to get our house assignments. Once I get the information I will update this event with the addresses.
We do need at least 15-20 people, so if you could go ahead and RSVP that would be helpful. We can figure out teams (and captains) when we know the location of the homes in a week or two.
Kids are MOST WELCOME to come help...they really enjoy it.
Bonus: We often get Appreciation Goodies from our clients! ;o)
