Life's Kitchen is a non profit that helps youth between 16-21 to develop a starting level trade of working in a kitchen. I have volunteered working with these students first hand in the kitchen and I can tell you it is a wonderful program. They learn all there is to know about getting around in a commercial kitchen, they get their food handling card, learn how to interview for jobs, some even get their GEDs in this program. The students work with chefs every day as they create food for the homeless shelters, contract with preparing food for some schools, run a small restaurant and even cater. It is a win win for many in the community, not just the students. It is a highly effective and important nonprofit that makes a positive impact to so many in the community. So come support their cause on Monday the 14th! 50% of all the money made on beer will go to Life's Kitchen. They will also be serving food made by the chefs and students at Life's Kitchen and will receive 100% of that profit. It should be great fun! More information below. PLEASE SHARE! Life's Kitchen will be the beneficiary of Payette Brewing's "Kegs4Kause" night of giving (and drinking), Monday, April 14, from 3-10pm. LK will have food available for purchase between 5pm and 9pm (or later if you're still hungry!) Menu includes the Payette beer inspired Mutton Buster BBQ Burger, Outlaw Marinated Chicken Sandwich, Pale Ale Pulled Pork Sandwich, with Cilantro Lime Slaw and Baked Potato Salad as sides. Thank you Payette Brewing! See ya'all there!
