The Art of Reflections - by JCD

Consider how to use your existing knowledge to generate interesting test cases.  This can apply to manual testing, tool assisted testing and automation, all of which will be considered.

We will also consider how to gather additional data to make your testing progressively better.

Finally we will talk about the difference between reasoning by analogy and using first principles.

It's fascinating how reflections can be used to programmatically generate interesting test cases. But it would have been nice to see that in action.

Agreed, but outside of you, Isaac and I, I don't think most of our attendees had any idea about reflections. I think if I introduced too many concepts in one talk I would have confused people. I would certainly welcome a second talk on reflections used in tests, if people want to hear it.

The topic was advanced. AND you need to lead with the printer/sun story.

I'd love to hear feedback. I really would like negative feedback on what I can do better to improve it! So please comment 2/5 * person. :) I promise I won't hold it against you.
