What is the best book you read recently?
Company of Liars by Karen Maitland - Group if medieval travelers thrown together in the time of plague. Great historical fiction invoking world condition, magical thinking, religious beliefs and grim reality.
What is your favorite book of all time?

Sterling North in Rascal before he contracted polio. What a phenomenally awesome childhood.
Do you read every book cover to cover, or do you give a book 50 pages and then decide whether to finish reading it?
Maybe not even 50
Reading the end of a book first: Sacrilegious, or perfectly reasonable?
Perfectly reasonable. If the end is exactly what I predicted it would be at page 10 - no need to read the middle 250!! If the end makes my want to know how the characters got there then I'm hooked!
