I've done marketing for numerous authors and will be marketing my own book when it comes out. Not sure when that will be. Always ready to learn new things and help others market their books.
You name it: advertising, pay-per-click, article placements, PR, blogs, SEO, securing book reviews, getting into bookstores & libraries, webcasts, tradeshows, newsletters, TV, radio, videos, Web banners, speeches/public appearances, direct mail, email, YouTube, fliers, contests, blah, blah, and more blah. So far no skywriting.
Currently working with numerous authors to market their books. Having just finished my ms I'm now putting my marketing plan together.
No book yet, but have been published a number of places.
Read Watership Down in almost one sitting; butts aren't made to sit that long. Reading The River Why now, loving it. The Prize, by Daniel Yurgin.
I've done some book marketing and marketing for high-tech companies. I'm in the final stages of editing a memoir, ASPHALT ASYLUM. It's about a 6,00-mile hitchhiking trip I took alone: charity, horror, revelations. Shopping it around to agents.
