Review 5 pages, double spaced, limited to 10 people, first come.

SINCE WE NOW HAVE 15 PEOPLE SIGNED UP FOR OUR MEETING ON SATURDAY, xerox only 5 pages but bring more pages so you can share them with each member. You are responsible for xeroxing your copies and bringing enough for everyone.  We expect that each of you provide feedback in order to make this successful for everyone. Be honest but kind. If you sit there and don't help your follow writer, we can't help each other and if we see this is a pattern with you, we will ask you to leave our group. We are now charging $10 per meeting. Cash or check is appreciated. Jeanne and I will read and give you comments on these pages, and offer suggested changes. Our meetings in the future will be at a local library and we are charged for use of the room. DO NOT bring food or beverages into the library. You must xerox 15 copies of your pages for each person. We plan on having two meetings a month - one devoted to manuscript reviews and one devoted to teaching your about book publishing and how to get published:
query letters, submission guidelines, finding an agent, various departments within a publishing company, marketing plans, websites, etc. Jan Kardys and Jeanne Rogers.

i loved the group. i will definitey be back for sure. i learned a lot listening to other peoples work. It was very refreshing to hear other writers ideas in the works at various stages of development and i greatly appreciated the feedback i got from people. Now i know where West Redding, Conneticuit is. I can hardly wait for the next one. jane

Sorry, I'm not feeling well, I hope to come to the next one. I think we should limit attendance to the first 10-12 people since 5 pages is really too little to get a sense of a work and 20 was much too much. 10-12 pages is about right!

Unfortunately I will be away on the date, however, I formerly belonged to a group that met at the Ridgefield Library and they didn't charge us to meet. I'm not certain but I think the same may be true of the Danbury library or WCSU.

Glad to have the opportunity to return to your group. I have attended a few others but you guys, Jan and Jeanne are by far the best group ever.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
