Mingle with publishing folks

BookMachine is coming to New York City! If you work in publishing and live in NYC, we're pleased to say that Les Csonge from YUDU.com will be hosting our very first New York shindig.

Who goes to BookMachine parties?

Well, a combination of people really. First of all you've got publishing professionals - designers, editors, publishers, marketeers, sales professionals. Then there's book lovers and writers. And not to forget, a few app developers, games designers and publishing students.

What do you actually do?

We've organised talks, gimmicks and contests in the past, but we've found that the best ingredients for a good party are simply a great venue, chatty people and some drinks. Don't worry if you don't know anyone - it's always a friendly crowd!

Other party details ...

You'll be able to see the list of attendees below, as folks sign up - be sure to let us know if there's anyone particular you'd like to meet; and we'll happily 'do the intros'.

Awesome, to coin a NY phrase ;-) Great friendly people, from varying backgrounds and companies all mixing and creating a buzzing an informative yet social atmosphere, can't wait for the next one.

I think 5:30pm on a weekday in NYC is not going to work for most people.

I am very happy to join this group, but unfortunately, cannot attend next Wednesday.

However, please consider my non-fiction book, "Jew in Jail," for an upcoming discussion. Thanks! http://www.jewinjail.com/
