Hi Linda. The meetings are the last week of the month, from now on, Tuesdays (before Weds), at 7 pm. Allan Bros, The Brewery. June is "In the Woods", a mystery out of Ireland. July is "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed, the darling of book clubs everywhere. Great discussion last night. See you in June!

Would someone send me a list of the next several books to read?

Very much enjoyed our discussions. The book was a rich read and I look forward to reading the next selection sometime soon. You all are such nice and easy to know people. Glad I joined this group. See you in July!

I won't make it either tonight either, but I just finished in the woods-worth reading.

I'm sorry to stay I'll be skipping this one. I didn't even start the book because I got caught up in another book. I'll see you all next month. Happy reading!

Thank you for the location reminder! As Mary said we are meeting at The Beanery on 5th Ave. Even if you haven't read the book, don't be discouraged from coming! See you all tonight!

Roxanne needs to fill in the place for next meeting, too. It's call Allman Bros. Coffee also known as The Beanery, in a wonderful building housing several businesses, 152 W 5th, across from the jail (a jail that doesn't look like a jail.

Hey, I need a ride. [masked] 5552. My car is being lovingly cared for, at great expense, at a mechanic shop. $$$$ yikes. I am near Safeway on Coburg. Anyone?

I haven't gotten the book either, but I like the way you discuss the books and want to get a list of the upcoming books.

I don't think I'm going to get the book read by next week, but I might come and listen anyhow.

LOVE THIS BOOK! I told the April attendees but I'll tell the rest of you. At first, I was turned off by the title of this book. However, Nicole assured me it's great. I succeeded in getting it from the library right away so I have finished it. MARVELOUS! It's a book about books. A 70-ish mom and her son form a book club to discuss and read books during her chemo sessions. Each book is summarized and commented on. Her remarkable life is chronicled, too. I quickly found a list of the books on the web so I didn't have to write them down. Enjoy!
