Hello All,

I have uploaded the first issue of The Liberty Bell into the files section of our meetup page. For those of you who dont know or have not heard, The ASU Campaign for Liberty just released this new publication. It will serve as an outlet for the creative expression of facts, opinions, and ideas concerning liberty. Students, staff, faculty, and other members of the greater community are all invited and encouraged to submit their thoughts, opinions, and articles for publication in The Liberty Bell. E-Mail your submissions to appliberty@gmail.com.

Things have been moving along well for the ASU Campaign for Liberty this semester. We hosted a free showing of freedom to fascism a month or so ago at the local theater/pub and packed the house. All the seats were taken and there were people standing all around. There had to be over 200 people there. We also hosted a panel discussion on campus about the Israeli Palestinian conflict. There had to be about 80-100 people there as well. On Tuesday the 17th we held our own little rally for the republic in the common lawn area of the university, where we distributed the first copies of the new publication. The liberty movement is alive and well in our neck of the woods, despite the lack of communication through meetup.

I do realize that the lines of communication through meetup have been fairly silent, and I am sorry for letting this happen. I don't want it to seem like we are trying to exclude anyone or anything like that. I know it is no excuse for lack of communication, but I have been pretty slammed with school, and I also serve as the president of another honors society on campus, and i am preparing to graduate in may. None the less, i know that Meetup is an invaluable tool for communicating what is going on with our local liberty movement, and Im going to try my best to resume posting up whatever we are doing. Everyone in the high country that is interested or concerned with the current state of affairs facing our nation is welcome. If we are to be successful in spreading the ideas of peace, prosperity, and liberty, then we must harness the interest and passion that the Ron Paul presidential movement instilled in us all. Im going to try to look into renaming the meetup to reflect the current mission: spreading the ideas of liberty and freedom, and Involvement in The Campaign for Liberty. If anyone has any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me through meetup. The ASU Campaign for Liberty meets on the ASU campus every Monday at 7:00 PM in Walker Hall, Room# 309. Please come out and be a part of it!

Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty!
