Boston Area Multirotor Message Board › Winter flying
With them recent snowfall it appears winter is officially here like it or not. I don't let a little thing like cold air stop me from flying though, I'm getting geared up for some cold weather FPV, anyone else interested in some December multirotor activity?
Last year I was at the NEHC field with my EZUHF TX attached to a tripod next to my car and the groundstation with video RX and antenna sitting on the roof with cables running out through the sunroof. I sat in heated comfort listening to XM radio while logging some FPV stick time. Here's a collection of clips from last January when it was warm enough (BARELY!) to sit outside the car and log stick time... http://www.youtube.co...
As of this Friday @ 5:00PM I'm off work until January 2nd, so if anyone has some free time over the Christmas holiday and wants to get together for some cold weather flight, let me know.
