Ok I guess I should elucidate on "the drill."

1 Come to Community Boating by 10am. Best way to get there is to get off at the Charles/MGH T station (red line). Once you're out of the T station, look for the foot bridge to the left of the Longfellow bridge, that takes you over Storrow Drive and to the Esplanade. The boat house is right by the foot bridge.

2 If this is your first time at Community Boating, ask for a guest waiver form at the front desk and fill it out. You should also ask for a guest card.

3 If you've been to CBI before, bring your guest card. It's $5 to get a replacement card, if you don't bring it.

4 Dress weather-appropriately. Might be a bit chilly in the morning. Sailing sometimes involves getting splashed with water, so you want to wear something you don't mind getting a bit of Charles river water on.

5 Dim Sum for lunch afterwards. Please RSVP to the dim sum event.

6 They have day lockers. Bring a lock if you want to use one.

    Hi,
I don't know the drill... new to meetup haha. It looks like fun. How does it work, do we pay for the boat?

It's free. I have a membership and I'm allowed to bring guests.
