We are planning our annual Waterfire trip in Providence on August 10th. It is an interesting event to see an artwork of bonfires lighted along the canal in downtown Providence complemented by music around world. The Waterfire viewing will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hour.

More event detail can be found at the following link: www.waterfire.org

A group of us will have an early dinner at Abbey in Providence at 5:45PM. It is a famous burger joint close to the event site.  Feel free to join us.  The address of the restaurant is as follow:

686 Admiral St, Providence

For those of you who plan to park at Providence Place - parking cost about $10 for 5-8 hours and does not have to be validated. However, you do have to prepay your parking stub before you get to your car and exit the lot. There are parking vending machines to pay your stub in the mall. And be warned that exiting can take a long time - sometimes half an hour or more.

Transportation is your own responsibility, however if you need or want to carpool please post that on the comment page.   Our members are good about offering carpools.

    Hi all,
After Waterfire we'll walk around a little. Then go to Federal Hill for desserts at Pastiche. The address for Pastiche is 92 Spruce St. We'll drive there from Waterfire. Hope you can join us for dessert too. See you all soon.

I could jump on a ride leaving from Kendall/MIT too. Anywhere on red line is fine as well. Thanks!

I say we have a minimum of 4 cars arriving at similar time around 7ish. I park at one of the open lot around the Soveriegn Bank plaza last year which is reasonably close to the event.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
