Last month I went to the Stone Zoo with a friend, and realized that going to zoos is still pretty dang fun, no matter how old you are. So, I figured we could meetup at a zoo that is accessible by public transport - The Franklin Park Zoo.
Directions to zoo (via car and public transport), are available here - we'll meet at the main entrance near Blue Hill Ave:
If you can, I would suggest reserving a zoo pass from your local library - most libraries have a zoo pass of some sort that is either a hefty discount or free admission for several people. If you do wind up doing so, and your pass is good for multiple people, you can post a comment specifying how many other people can use your pass, and people can reply to your comment until all "spots" on the pass are used up. I will try to get a pass myself.
Please try to eat lunch before coming - I do not plan on stopping for a food break in the zoo with the group, although you're always free to break off from us for a bit if you get hungry.
Looking for somewhere to eat before going to the zoo? If you have a car, check out the All-You-Can-Eat Dim Sum meetup in Lexington earlier in the day.
