Big Data 2.0 - Infrastructure, Algorithms, and Visualization

We will start this meet-up with a presentation from an infrastructure solution provider to address Big Data and processing power scalability management.   I invite you to think about questions regarding these issues in your projects so that we can make the most of this presentation.  Please post them in the meet-up comments for us best prepare the infrastructure solution provider.  Patrick will attempt to coordinate with Rackspace to present a hybrid infrastructure.   An other important factor to keep in mind is the Big Data solution design and architecture consideration for cost management.  

The second part of our meet-up will be about Big Data algorithms and visualization.  David Oury will lead this presentation and share his experience in this area.  I will also reach out to Boris as he did mention a few mathematical approaches, if memory servers me right.  I will gather information on different visualization models from a Montreal University class where I conducted a social media Big Data research project. 

From an housekeeping perspective, and in the interest of time, we will limit the introductions to the new members of the team and call for up to three veteran volunteers to introduce themselves and share with the new members what they gain from these meet-ups.

THE TIME AND LOCATION WILL BE COMMUNICATED AS SOON AS WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO COORDINATE WITH THE PRESENTERS.  BEFORE THANKS GIVING IS THE OBJECTIVE.
