Boston Common Coffee Co. has more brewing then just beans!
For many years Boston Common Coffee Co. has sponsored its own cycling group. From this group a strong core of friends has developed and we have begun to expand into other events in which we share common interests such as Running, Triathlons, Skiing, etc.
If you are participating in some sort of outdoor athletic activity there is a good chance someone in this group would be interested in joining you, training with you or simply coming out once or twice.

Our Cycling Teams Riding Guidelines
Boston Common Coffee Co. is looking for cyclists from intermediate to avid riders to help us grow our team. We are a SOCIAL riding team that wants to help others improve to become stronger cyclists. So if you have a strong inner drive and willingness to grow as a cyclist this group is for you. Our core group of riders averages a speed of 18-20 mph over 25 miles but we also have riders that range from 12 to 18 mph over that same distance.
NEW GROUP RIDE FORMAT:
Our concept is to design a single route that can accommodate all riders within the group. Since each ride will have different levels of cyclists in them as the ride begins the groups will start to separate into 3 levels.
LEVEL 1: THE LATTE GROUP
This group is for cyclist that are just beginning or want to ride at a relaxed pace. Avg. Pace 10-12 mph.
LEVEL 2: THE CAPPUCCINO GROUP
This group is for cyclist that are intermediate riders that want to continue to get stronger as a cyclist and challenge themselves on the various terrain on our rides. Avg. Pace 12-15 mph.
LEVEL 3: THE ESPRESSO GROUP
This group is for the cyclist that want to participate or just join in on the training for THE PAIN in the MASS TOUR in September. This group will be following a per-determined training schedule to prepare each rider for 2 days of climbing in the Berkshires and to the top of Mt. Greylock. The goals for this group are to work on pace-line cycling, climbing, and build up endurance. Avg. Pace 18-20 mph.
HOW TO RSVP FOR A RIDE:
When you RSVP to join a group ride please add in what level rider you are so people of similar riding speeds will know they have others to ride with.
