Content Marketing is the art of learning the wants and needs of your customers, and the science of delivering it to them in a compelling way.
Guest speakers and industry leaders will share their content on content creation, content optimization and content performance measurement. We'll try and look at examples of great content and performance of that content every meetup. Learn the tricks of the new-age trade and the latest tools and technology that's powering the revolution.
Our FIRST MEETING will be held on February 23, 2010 at 7 PM EST at the ideaLaunch.com offices at 240 Commercial Street Unit 3B Boston Ma 02109. Look forward to any and all attending. We'll ask for future support and assistance in lining up future guest. Host Byron White will be the first guest speaker for this event and kicking off the content marketing revolution for all attendees.

Hi Everyone, Just sent all members an email, so have a look. Bottom line, we're lining up our North End Location, and will let everyone know in a week or so. I want to be close to our North End office so I can get our presentation equipment back and forth to the meeting. It's all about the show of show and tell with content marketing!

Hey Content Marketeers! I changed the venue and date for this first event. Sorry for any confusion... but I found the perfect luxury spot of sorts-- a private function room with ocean views. Very excited for the first event for anyone that wants to jump in.... the latest location based upon the YES RSVP expected attendees so far will now be 240 Commercial Street, Suite 3B, Boston Ma 02109... my office conference room which should fit the bill perfectly. Hopefully, the interest level will increase for next month's event.....

Carolyn McKibbinEveryone in the group, whether new to the world of content marketing or a seasoned pro, had an opinion to share. I especially liked hearing everyone's answer to "What is great content?" There wasn't one right answer, but many. Look forward to hearing the next guest speaker present.

Jon Humberstone+1 guestFor a very first meetup, it was really great! The people were interesting, intelligent and willing to share. The conversation was lively and useful networking connections were made. There is no doubt that the people who attended all have something interesting to offer each other on many topics. Once the group gets a bit more focused about why it exists, it has the potential to be great.

KaocratIt was an interesting conversation for sure. Most everyone besides me seemed to speak a lingo that I'm only peripherally familiar with. I only realized that SEO stood for "search engine optimization" as I was walking home, for instance, and there are a bunch of terms I'll need to look up also. That said, I'm probably going to attend at least a few more of these and see where it goes, because I'm pretty sure this is a field that could help my fine arts and jewelry business. I'm rating this meetup a four out of five because I'm pretty sure that future meetups are going to be better (this was kind of an introduction-p
hase thing), so I'm leaving room for that rating in the future.
