Web site:

Open to: the general public     Time: 8:00p–10:30p

Cost: $12      Ticket Reservation: Online

you may reserve ticket(s) now before it gets booked-up. Once you reserve online, you have to show up at least 15 min. before the show to pay. Otherwise you may loose the reservation. For more information, contact: Mark Velednitsky

The Ensemble is an extra-curricular student theatre ensemble that performs classical works by Shakespeare and other authors. As an ensemble, we maintain a close-knit atmosphere as actors and designers/technicians to explore the aspects of theater together. We perform one mainstage show per semester, plus "scene nights", performances of black-box scenes from any play, and a mainstage summer show.

Parking You may try MIT parking lot for Bank of America ATM on Mass Ave. (between Albany & Vassar St: Free after 5 pm) If that is full, find a meter spot (free after 6 pm) on Mass Ave. towards Central Sq. You may find a spot on Main St. but not too close to Kendal T station (no parking usually around there). It is still a good walk (about 8 min +) to the student center building from wherever you find a spot.

MIT Stratton Student Center: 84 Mass Ave is about a 10 min walk from Central Sq. or Kendal Sq. (Red Line) stations.

After the show, we may go to Anna's Taqueria inside the Student Center downstaris, if enough people are interested.

There are always cancellations of any reservations. if you are coming from not too far, it is worth trying to show up 7:45 pm even if you do not have reservations. That is my take. But of course with some risks. Hope to see you soon.

Hi, I was thinking last minute I'd like to attend, but reservations are (not too surprisingly) no longer available. Another time, and enjoy the show!

    Hi Shakespeare folks,
I will be inside Sala de Puerto Rico (2F of the Student Center) with a meetup sign and name tags from 7:30 pm. Find me inside with a Meetup sign and we try to sit together. I put How to get there info + parking for the first timers. Hope you managed to reserve a seat online for yourself. If you reserved a seat, you have to be there by 7:45 pm the latest otherwise you may loose the reservation. Looking forward to seeing all of you there tomorrow/Sat around 7:45 pm to enjoy Hamlet.

    Hi Odette,
Right - just online reservation only. It says we have to show up at least 15 min. before the show (and pay at the door, presumably) otherwise you would loose the reservation. I just reserved mine. Mark did not say clearly in his email but I am sure that what he meant. Thank you for pointing out. Now we should meet around 7:40 pm. - I will be there at the door of Sala de Purto Rico from 7:30 pm.

  • Odette I.

Thank you, Mariko! Just reserved. Though I am not sure when /where to pay for the tix, it just says "reserved" and no option to actually pay for it. Any information on this, please? :) Thanks!
