Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3 by Abel Sanchez & New Philharmonia Orchestra

"Greetings from the New Philharmonia Orchestra in Newton Centre! We would like to invite the Boston Cultural Nomads Meetup group to attend our first Classics concert of the Season coming up on November 17th and 18th! Duo of Threes, features Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 performed by Abel Sanchez Aguilera (2011 - 1st prize winner of the Boston International Piano Competition) and Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 3, “Rhenish”.

Newton Centre is a charming little town filled with unique shops, amazing restaurants and of course, the orchestra! The performance on Saturday, November 17th begins at 8:00 p.m. – a perfect day for shopping, dinner, the concert and a complimentary post-show reception with wine and cheese. The concert on Sunday, November 18th starts at 3:00 p.m.

New Phil at Symphony Hall
Our concerts are held at the stunning First Baptist Church in Newton – 848 Beacon Street, Newton Centre, MA 02459. There is plenty of parking and the church is also T accessible – Newton Centre stop on the D Branch of the Green Line.

The tickets (adult) costs $28 with 20% discount for Nomads. Students $8, Senior $25: Seating area for Nomads is also specified in red/Left on the website. <>

Please note that discounted tickets must be purchased in advance and no discounts will be offered at the door. The discounted link is available until noon on Saturday, November 17.

New Phil will put “Cultural Nomads Meetup” signs on our reserved rows to help us find each other. After the concert there is a complimentary dessert and wine reception with the maestro and musicians.

    Hi everyone, I will try to be there 20 min prior to the concert starts. I'm not sure if there is a room inside of church where we can meet first but if there is room, I will be standing left side after the entrance. If there is no room, there will be sign for this meetup where we will be seated.
