Another treat as Dub Apocalypse is putting on a Friday night show, this time with the aid of DJ Mr. Rourke, a nice combo of live and recorded music. Dub Apocalypse does a nice mix of reggae and jazz, great improvisation done over sick reggae basslines. This time they perform in one of my favorite venues, Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, which is reminiscent of an old-school jazz club, with a real intimate setting. They perform real close to the audience, and it is usually a great interaction between band and crowd. Plus for this show we get 2 sets, and Mr. Rourke provides a nice DJ set in between the live music. This should be a great night!!!
