Lets have dinner at the Koreana!
For those who are interested in the table barbecue, each table is equipped with a grill.
Please see the restaurant website, http://www.koreanaboston.com, for menu details.
The largest table fits 12 people.
For now, I am limiting the attendance to 12, depending on interest, I may increase the reservation to two tables.
In order for this event to be successful, we will need to be organized and follow some rules.
1) RULE NUMBER 1 - Please Show-Up
Please only reserve "YES" if you are definitely attending.
I need an accurate attendance count to make the restaurant reservation.
A reservation is equivalent to asking the restaurant in setting aside a place for you. It is not fair for the restaurant to hold empty seats and lose business for no-shows.
This is also a space limited event and a false reservation may deny someone on the waiting list from attending this event.
If you like to express that you are a "MAYBE", please write the message in comments field for this event.
If your plans change, please update your reservation.
If you are a "no-show" because of an emergency, please send me a courtesy message so you will not be removed from the group. I understand that there are sometimes emergencies and that emergencies happen, however a "no-show" should be a rare happening, not the norm.
2) RULE NUMBER 2 - Be on time!
Please understand that it is not fair to ask those who have arrived early to wait for late comers. Also it is not fair for the restaurant to hold empty seats. So please plan ahead and give yourself extra time to travel, park, and walk your way to the event. Consider possible traffic or waiting in line delays in planning your overall travel time.
If you are late, please understand that we cannot wait for you and guarantee that you will be able to join the group.
If 6:30pm is too early for most people, please let me know and I will change the time.
3) RULE NUMBER 3 - Please be financially prepared
Your bill includes a meal tax and tip. Meal tax is 6.24% and group tip is typically 18%, therefore you must add at least 24.24% to your food bill.
Depending how people feel, I was thinking that we could go salsa dancing around the corner at the Havana Club, http://www.havanaclubsalsa.com/salsa_fridays.shtml... just something to think about.
This should be fantastic event, and I am really looking forward to meeting new and familiar faces.
