Dear Boston Culture Lovers,
Today is Free Fun Friday at the MFA.
Museum admission is free all day.
This event is more intended for those arriving early for the 7:30pm event for the Boston French Festival film, A Castle in Italy film.
Viewing the museum exhibits for free is a great way to spend time before film time. However, all are welcome to join in this event.
The plan is to meet at 5:30pm in lounge/couch area of the Sharf Visitor Center on the first floor. At 5:45pm sharp, we will start roaming the museum exhibits. If you are late, please understand that we will not be able to wait for you and it may be very difficult for you to find the group.
If you need to familiarize yourself to this location, here is a link to the floor plan:
Just to clarify, the admission to the museum is free, however you will still need to go through the ticket counter/line to check in. Also, the films are not included in the free admission. Tonight's film is $11 for non-members and $9 for members, seniors, and students.
I strongly recommend that you take public transportation for parking can be sometimes difficult and expensive. The MFA is very easily accessible via the subway and buses. The nearest subway, (T) stop is the Museum stop on the Green E line.
I look forward to seeing you at the MFA.
