Dear Boston Culture Lover,
Lets enjoy an Iranian film at that MFA!
The film starts at 3pm, however I suggest that people meet at 2pm and hang out at the Taste Cafe and Wine Bar (inside the museum on Level 1). This cafe is directly accross the auditorium. Please let me know if you are able to meet early before the film.
Often these special film events sell out and I strongly reccommend that you purchase your tickets in advance. Please note the Meetup page when you have purchased your ticket.
Here some details for the film.
No Men Allowed by Rambod Javan (Iran, 2011, 100 min.).

Do opposites attract? Pariya believes if her strict headmaster Ms. Darabi finds loves, she’ll loosen the school’s strict rules. When Mr. Jebeli becomes the school’s first male teacher, Pariya decides to play matchmaker, but Ms. Darabi is looking for a win in the country’s chemistry competition, not a husband.
Directed by one of Iran’s most popular TV comedy stars, No Entry for Men is a refreshing and hilarious take on the romantic comedy—a genre that’s popular in Iran, but rarely seen outside the country.

Wonderful comedy, excellent film. Nice and friendly company.
The only complaint that I have is with the high number of no shows, 8 out 13 did not show up.
The norm for this group is for members to show courtesy and respect to others in the group and to the organizers by showing up for events that they have signed up for. Organizers depend on accurate attendance for events to be successful.

Excellent! Great movie and it was nice getting together with those that came to eat afterwards.

I am here, in line at the cafe. Getting a cappucino, then I will sit. Sort of crowded. Wearing a redish scarf and gray sweater.

Some of you asked me about meeting time and place.

I was wondering if anyone bought their tickets?
There is a risk that films sell out, so if you are really interested in viewing this film, please purchase your tickets.
Last year, I had an entire group signed up for an MFA event and no one purchase his or her ticket in advance, and we all missed out.
Also, I noticed that this film is only showing this one time at this festival and I suspect that it may sell out. So please plan ahead and purchase your ticket in advance.

I just bought my ticket online. The cost was $12 ($1fee included). Sometimes these events sell out and I recommend people purchase their tickets in advance.
