Connecting the Data Driven Economy; Data in Healthcare Showcase (Eventbrite)

(Please register on Eventbrite for this event)

We are excited to announce the launch of new group that aims to showcase and strengthen the data driven economy in Boston and beyond.

Like myself, many of you are engaged in projects, startups, or companies that are data-centric and span many different industries. Connect with others as we look to discuss the many faucets of data and what it means for you, you company, your business, and your career. Each of our events will showcase some of the innovative companies and individuals that are disrupting today's economy through new data insights. In addition, there will also be a strong emphasis on building a community of like-minded individuals who are interested and passionate about shaping a data-driven economy and helping you connect.

Data has the potential to revolutionize healthcare. For our inaugural (kickoff) event, we will showcase a number of companies doing just that. Quanttus, QMedic and VisibleEP are pioneers in their field of wearable device and interactive monitoring. We will also have ample time to network.

This will be a catered event so we are asking a small fee to help offset that cost.

Best regards,

I was the CEO of the Massachusetts Health Data Consortium from[masked], and now I am doing legal and consulting work in the area of health data, and I have to say I think this is going to be a great group. Issues of complexity and incentives have slowed the adoption of IT and data analytics in healthcare compared to other industries, but with EHR adoption having reached the tipping point, that's about to change. The next five years should be awesome!

Good to hear this Ray. I am a researcher interested in data analysis related to health information systems and HIT adoption. Hope I would get more data for my research.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
