While we are always doing other variations of D&D (Path, 3.5, 4.0) our next meetup is going to be on the same day our weekly D&D: Next demo/playtest is being run. So if players are interested in trying the new system bring along some dice and you can either play a pregen or create a character of your own.

Hi, I'm thinking of attending with my 12 yr old son. Would that be OK? We have been playtesting D&D Next at home, so he's done a bit with me as his DM. He's fairly inexperienced but loves the game. And I haven't played much in years myself, just DM'd for him the past year.

What level and campaign/adventure is planned? One from the playtest? And what version of Next?

    Thank you!

Hey Chris, I sent a direct reply but just to make sure here is my reply again. Glad to hear you and your children are playing D&D, and you don't need to worry about your children being too young to play. Children are encouraged to play in our games and we make sure that TnT maintains a family friendly environment. We have three children roughly the same age as your son who play in our weekly D&D Encounters every Wednesday.
For our 4/20 Meetup we are doing two first level events. One event is our weekly Pathfinder Society (PFS) session. The current scenario is Rise of the Goblin Guild and it's designed for first through fifth level characters. The other is the opening scenario of the current Encounters season Scourge of the Sword Coast. Both will be starting around 2PM. Players can either bring their own character (2nd level min) or us one of our pregens. Hope you and your son are able to play

I left my dice in Texas but I'll try to have them mailed to me before then, just in case it gets here too late would you happen to have a spare set?
