I'd appreciate any feedback on how we could improve our meetup for next time. Thanks.

Ember seems to be a very large and complex topic. And considering how few people are actively it perhaps having a series of meetings each focusing on a specific part of the framework. The goal would be to build the community by evangelizing the framework and getting people up to speed.
Sounds good. Any recommendations for next month?
Rather, any specific topics you would like to see covered?
Thanks Chris, great meetup.Any of the following topics are of interest atm:
[EmberData] Demos of EmberData or alternatives.
[Nested Views] Best practices dealing with advanced multi level views.
[Documentation] Ways to document large EmberJS code base with tools similar to Doxygen functionality.
[Unit Testing] Writing EmberJS unit tests with Jasmine or similar.
[Optimization/Deployment] Best way to minify and optimize EmberJS apps r.js / uglifyjs ...
I imagine a talk on the state of Ember, so it would include the history of its architecture, and the rational for shifts that have changed the way you architect an app. Then a peek into the issues being considered for future releases and again how that impacts the way you architect an app.
I know that you covered some of that "state of Ember" but because it was interesting, I want to know more...
That should warrant a long presentation (or maybe even a series), but I agree. Ember in its previous incarnation seemed to want to do everything and Ember now is much streamlined. "The State of Ember" would be a great topic to expand into what in essence is Ember trying to solve.
Really great intro that lead to some detailed discussions of Ember, thanks
Instructions for tonight:
Basho's office is located on the 2nd floor. The door downstairs should be open, but in the case it's not feel free to text me to come down and open it:[masked]-6484.
Parking on the street is limited, but there are a few lots available behind Central Square.
We will be providing some beer, soda and snacks for tonight's meeting.

Tony, just saw you cancelled saying you were going to the Backbone meetup. Which? Bocoup's meetup is tonight, and ours is tomorrow night.

Just added a second talk to the schedule.

Does someone have info as to when the hackfest starts?

Oh. NM then, ignore what I said earlier
I would love to attend... But there is a nodejs hack night at bocoup :(
It's a pretty tight week, considering Bocoup also has a Backbone.js event the night before and I'm potentially hosting another meetup on Friday so I'm considering keeping it this night unless there is a significant portion of people who are going to the Node hackathon.
I'd love to hear from people who are going to be going to the Node event.
I'm coming to both. Hack is at 10 right? I might just bow out of ember a bit early
Could always take the party to boucoups if there's capacity
