HTML5 Game Development Monthly Meetup

Show and Tell

Been working on a cool game? Tired of trying to explain it to your friends who's eyes glaze over when you mention JavaScript or HTML5? Well come show us. We love all types of games and we love to discuss code. Come show it to people who will appreciate all the clever techniques you used to bring your game to life.

This month's meetup will be open to anyone who wants to demo or discuss anything they've been working on.

Oh and as always FREE PIZZA and beverages sponsored by The Data Collaborative :)

Regarding the question of the 3d package I was thinking of.. it turned it the guy I know was using MODO which is like $1500.. so nevermind :) for low poly modeling, I like to use Milkshape3D.. which is i guess at this point abandoned.. but it was a big deal back in the day. PC only.. $35 its one of those 3d programs I could teach someone in 30min.. saddens me to see it has basically lost its following because it's really fun to use.

and by blank i just mean they inserted a blank page.. all of the content is there.. :) So anyone who stumbles across this with interest in experimenting with milkshape, give this a try and see what you think.. i love milkshape in spite of it's abandonware status.. i'll probably go clean up the every other page thing, I just have some deadlines pressing me in other areas atm.

I'm glad I went tonight -- it was fun to meet people who can have an interesting conversation about HTML5 games!
