    Hello, everyone.

I just wanted let you know that I will be presenting about TypeScript on Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at the Bocoup Loft.

For those who don't know, TypeScript is a language designed and developed by Microsoft (with Anders Hejlsberg being the Lead Architect). It is a super-set of ECMAScript version 5 (also known as JavaScript). JavaScript lacks many of the language features that are taken for granted in other programming languages, such as C, C++, C#, Java, et cetera. Simply put, TypeScript aims at fixing this problem by extending JavaScript in a way that allows developers to build powerful applications using the JavaScript they love, but with the added typing, built-in module systems, error-checking, and strong tooling.

To learn more about TypeScript, visit: http://typescriptlang.org.
The event can be found here: http://bit.ly/12CXq3o.

    Thanks!

I was asked to post a link to MoustacheInvaders: https://github.com/Myztiq/mousta...

It's in a super beta stage right now, if you run a simple web server inside ccvYay you should be able to get tracking on your face live.

We are currently trying to figure out the fastest method to do facial recognition in the browser, hopefully we can get something that will be responsive enough for a game...

I'm not sure I can bring a laptop tonight... Will I still be able to participate without my own computer?

You can probably code over the shoulder, if needed. Especially if you're better at this stuff than at least one person. Which if I'm coming will be true.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
