Learn About Volunteering in Tanzania

Have you ever wanted to volunteer in Africa? How about travel to Tanzania? Then join Boston International Volunteers at HI-Boston for a meetup with the Tanzanian Children's Fund. Amber Oberc, US Managing Director at the Fund, will walk you through some amazing opportunities to work at orphanages and support schools across Tanzania. Tanzania, like many African countries, is home to a large portion of orphaned children due to the AIDS epidemic. Amber will explain more about how the Tanzanian Children's Fund makes its impact in the northern region of Tanzania, including other areas that the Fund supports such as microfinance and community health. For those who have time, we'll be heading out to a nearby bar for follow-up drinks and conversation. See you there!
