3rd Thursday - Trivia Night 2012

If you spent way too much time playing You Don't Know Jack back in the day, you now have plans for this Thursday night.  Apperian is hosting the first annual (ever?) Mobile App Dev Trivia night. Team registration starts at 6:30pm.  Questions will start promptly at 7:00pm, so don't be late!  Here are the deets:

  • There will be 30 questions covering topics surrounding Mobile App Dev and general Boston mobility startup scene knowledge.
  • Teams will need a creative name can can include up to 4 people.  Feel free to organize groups before arrival using the attending list.  (Bonus points for the most creative name)
  • Come with as many mobile devices as you like (at least one per team required)
  • Each Team will register upon arrival by DM'ing @BostonMAD (yes, at least one team member must have a twitter account to participate)
  • Questions will be announced verbally, then immediately tweeted. Once the tweet goes out, you have just 30 seconds to DM a response. Late responses are not counted!
  • Scores will be added up at the end. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.

In additional to all this goodness, we'll of course enjoy treats from everyone's favorite burrito spot: Boloco. Plus, the best craft beer selection of any meetup...guaranteed!

See you THIS Thursday!!!

It was a good developer transfer of ideas, but I thought there would be more knowledge of Android/IOS coding. It was fun, but I don't think I'll attend again because it brings me home after midnight when I have to get up early the next morning. Joe and Chuck run a great meeting.

Small intimate meeting with an extremely relaxed atmosphere. I learned a lot from the trivia questions, especially about the startup landscape.

Hi, I am a new member to the group...thought I would introduce myself. I am working on a mobile app in health care. Excited to see there is a group that shares similar interests.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
