Interested in sustainability and it's relationship to social justice and class issues. Looks like I'll be able to come today, though I may be a bit late. See y'all later.

I know it isn't a pot luck but since the host said it's ok to bring food, I'm bringing roasted root veggies which are finger food with toothpicks. They are vegan.

If any of you are getting Permaculture Magazine, can you bring a copy to the meeting today? I want to peruse it to see if it is something I'd subscribe to. Totally fed up with Organic Gardening mag and stopped subscribing to that one.

    Hello,
I would be into meeting you all! I just finished the Permaculture FEAST PDC course in Holyoke and I would be happy to share a bit about that experience with anyone who is interested. I highly recommend the course, great curriculum. I look forward to it. Is this potluck style? I could bring something tasty if you would like. Thank you Helen for hosting!

    Til then

Yes bring food to share if you so wish esp raw food (nuts/fruits/veggies) but dont feel pressured to. I am most likely not going to bring anything.

so maybe we can have a conversation about what kinds of foods permies eat and don't eat and why.. the more we learn, the better!

Hey, Marcus, great, come join the conversation.. Now a dozen people and more writing me every day. Not a potluck really, as it's at 2 pm, but food is welcome.. and info, and people... we'll just see where it all goes. Obviously we need time together!

Just signed up for this meeting. Have been watching this group but JP is hard for me to get to.
I have some topic suggestions to propose.
    1) What are your favorite books on the topic or related to? We could bring a copy for others to look through in order to see if it's one worth buying. I lent all my books to a friend for the winter so I can't bring much. But I have a couple from the library.
    2) Also, since I just became co-coordinator of a community garden, I'd love ideas to link permaculture and community gardening.
    3) Also perennial veggies beyond the typical few.
    4) And, since I live in a condo (thankfully have a deck) I'm always interested in small space stuff. I think you recently did a meeting on small space permie though. Would love someone to recap if possible.
Any of these appeal? Sorry if these ideas are redundant to ideas you've done already.

On a different subject - Do any of you have a Pinterest board on Permaculture? If so, would you share your link?

Wow.. 11 people now rsvp'd! What a community! I love all these ideas, and bet others will too.. See you on Sunday and feel free to ask for directions.

Hey, folks, I now see 6 people rsvp'd.. that's great. Does anyone have a topic you'd like to discuss? I'd love it if we simply talk about what we're doing, what else we hear is going on, and get to know each other. But if you want to bring a topic, please do! I'll think of some snacks, will be happy to help you navigate to here. 5 min. walk (one long block) from Inman Square, 10 min. from Central, 15 from Harvard. [masked] for questions or directions.

Utah had a good idea: Pick a date and see what happens! I'm game to offer my house for a solstice-weekend meeting or potluck. Cambridge, near Central Square. Does 2 pm (which Utah suggested) work, or suppertime? Looks like we have 4 people already.. let's go for it!
