Paul Ramsey and Jonathan Lowe on PostGIS

Local area company BCG is doing a lot with PostGIS and will be hiring 7-8 data engineers over the coming year. Our group new member Jonathan Lowe together with BCG will be hosting the meetup. We are delighted to have PostGIS legend Paul Ramsey in town for this event.

Update on the dinner menu... We'll be serving grilled salmon with mango salsa, a grilled chicken platter, a tuscan vegetable platter, mesclun salad, roasted squash wheat berry wild rice salad and a dessert tray. Hope that covers all dietary constraints! :)

Jonathan will demonstrate Vizzuality's CartoDB, an open-source web-based mapping and analysis tool with PostgreSQL and PostGIS as the backend. Paul will present PostGIS features and field Q&A. Boston Consulting Group will provide dinner. Please check in with security in the lobby of 53 State Street, then take the elevator to BCG's 7th floor Center for Knowledge and Analytics. Please call Jonathan with any access issues:[masked]

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
