Dan McClain will talk about leveraging PostgreSQL in Ruby on Rails

With Rails 4.0, ActiveRecord, Rails' ORM, gained support for many of PostgreSQL's advanced data types. Dan will talk about how DockYard is leveraging these data types in their projects, and ways to increase performance in Rails applications by having PostgreSQL take on more of the load.
