Boston Salonistas

I've hosted several "salons" in the past and they were a hoot! No, not a hair salon, people. A talking one.
Once/month-Sunday afternoons 4 PM. - 6:30. Intelligent Fun. Make us laugh at your way of looking at the world. Be able to express yourself succinctly. Be a good listener and respond with relevance.

Bring something good to eat and share with approx 15 people. Topics range from political to personal. Divergent opinions and types of people make the best salons. Noone is allowed to hog the conversation. Topics - something energizing. For example, Twitter, why? New/old Healthcare plan. Boston Globe closing. Is the internet affecting personal relationships? Texting while driving/in a meeting. Letting prisoners out of jail because we can no longer afford to keep them in. Has this organic thing gone too far? Why are we all still getting those money appeal emails Nigeria? Is capitalism working? Differences of opinion are encouraged. Laugh and express yourself. People should join who want community and who are fed up with being appropriate. Challenge yourself and others in a gentle, fun, thoughtful way.
**Topics and location for upcoming Meeting will be emailed several days in advance.**
P.S. Kindly, forward topic suggestions. Limited number of participants! Not everyone will be able to attend the first meeting due to amount of sign ups. Please respond yes or no. "Maybe" is not consistent with the kinds of people who attend these and will be treated as a No.
