Are you concerned about environmental issues effecting your community?

Do you want experience doing grassroots conservation?

Come volunteer with the Massachusetts Sierra Club!

Join us for a free lunch and learn about our volunteer and internship opportunities!

We want you as you are- including: artist, techno geek, techno phob, writer, scientist, hiking enthusiast, lawyer, party girl, book worm, or general busybody like myself! We have one time volunteer opportunities as well as those which will engage you every week for months! The Sierra Club will also work with you to design your own volunteer or conservation activity.

We will set aside time for you to meet the other attendees and make new friends!

A big HURRAH! to Amy, a new volunteer who is helping us better define and organize our volunteer tasks!

The photo is of me womanning the Sierra Club table at MIT's Earth Day event, a sample volunteer activity.

    •  I'm the organizer and appreciate everyone making time to come! I hope everyone learned something. I know I did- how to think about volunteer activities in a more creative way. Thank you everyone for your suggestions and willingness to volunteer. I think sitting around a big table does not encourage one on one conversations. I may have spoken too much in the group discussions. Do people want more opportunities for private conversations?
