Sivananda Satsang!

Sri Swami Sivananda taught that all religions can practice yoga. The teachings brought the understanding that all names and forms of the divine ultimately lead to one truth. Therefore, the rituals are a celebration of all faiths. Swami Vishnu Devananda was sent by his teacher Sri Swami Sivananda to bring Yoga to the west. His teachings of Integral Yoga were outlined in over 300 of the books he wrote in his lifetime. Satmeans 'truth' and sangha means 'gathering of the wise'. Through meditation, chanting, inspriation reading and story we will honor the part of the yoga practice that brings peace to the heart and mind.

Suggested donation: $5-10. Families with young children are welcome to join at 2:45pm after the silent meditation. Next satsangs March 2 & June 22
