Practicing Algorithms

Daniel Rinehart will facilitate the April meeting:

The April meetup will practice coding an algorithm using an apprenticeship model. In this scenario you are coming onto a project where some decisions, for better or worse, that have already been made. The goal is to understand the existing framework and implement an improved algorithm. People will work in pairs using TDD to implement the algorithm. The exercise supports Node.js, Ruby, and Java. Please bring a laptop with an environment setup that can successfully run the "Testing a solver" section for your language of choice from the project: https://github.com/NeoPhi/amazing

And, at the beginning of the meeting we'll have a short performance of a kata by Zach Shaw

Unfortunately, I'm in another country that day, which would make the commute difficult.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
