Hey guys, I beta tested a twitter engagement automation tool yesterday called Slingbot. ( It worked quite well promoting my startup on Twitter and provided analytics for each campaign. Does anyone know of other social media engagement tools out there?

Feel free to bring business cards, etc. to share with your peers if you wish, as we'll have a table for such. Be sure to bring a wifi enabled device to participate in the feedback. Some of them who attended were very enthusiastic and inspiring. But the number pf pitches were very less like 4 or 5. Definitely a good start.

Hey everyone, Meredith does this have a space yet? Is it still next week? Let me know because with enough notice I can help.

Hi Helen (and everyone!), Yes! Hopefully everyone's noticed that the venue and speaker are all ready - in case not, the details are available here on Meetup or on our website. Thank you Helen for your suggestions! We had a number of options and I look forward to meeting you and talking and learning more about your startup!

Hi Helen! I've reached out via email through Meetup, and would enjoy hearing more about the space you're thinking of - thanks for reaching out! I do have offers for event space that we'll be following up with next week after our NYC event - but having alternatives in mind for the event space is always very helpful. We're targeting August 29th and hope to have all the details wrapped up by end of next week. We're looking forward to meeting everyone and having a fun time with everyone in listening to some startup pitches!

Hey Meredith the space is owned by a friend Kit Maloney of Collaboratory a new coworking space aimed at women entrepreneurs. Kit would like to get in touch. I have a backup but I think this is a better bet. Let me know if you want her contact.

Is this event actually going to happen? Has anyone contacted MSFT re getting into NERD? It'd be great to have something happen in early December before the investor year is up.

Maybe G+ is fading. I attended a unique Facebook Q+A session today with Howie Jacobson, author of AdWords for Dummies. It was great getting that kind of instant feedback on questions. Maybe Facebook would be a better hosting platform for Q+A?

Anyone on G+? I think it would be cool to start fueling some discussions on a SEMPO circle and start finding out who everyone is. Just a thought

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
