Who Should Attend
No specific experience is necessary, and we encourage developers familiar with creating apps for other platforms to join in and learn about cross-platform options for bringing games to Windows 8.
Whether you're new to Windows 8, game development, or both, you'll leave with a practical understanding of Windows 8 features and development, a head filled with new app ideas, and the knowledge you’ll need to get in the game quickly!
Finding the JumpStart
The event will be at Microsoft New England Research & Development (NERD). Directions and details on parking. We'll be in the conference center on the 1st floor.
What to Bring
If you'd like to follow along and try the various tools, bring a laptop. Ideally with Windows 8, but Windows 7 will let you run some of the tools, though you won't be able to publish to the Windows Store without Windows 8.
See you at the JumpStart!
