This park has forest, river, a boardwalk through the marsh and a pond. The seven hundred acres known as Cutler Park comprise the largest remaining fresh water marsh on the middle Charles. Located in Needham and Dedham, the marsh and small lake attract over 100 species of birds which make Cutler Park a prime spot for nature study. Other activities suitable to this wetland preserve are hiking, canoeing and fishing. Open year-round, dawn to dusk.

DIRECTIONS Driving from Route 95: directions: Take exit 19B to Highland Ave, take first left onto Hunting Rd, turn right on Kendrick St, look for Cutler Park reservation signs on your right.

First time at Cutler Park, but it won't be the last - so convenient to my home!

I went to Nahant Park at 10:30 am and could not make it to this group meet up. There were two other people who also did not realize that there are many parks around. The good news: there are many parks. I hope next time I make it.
