Designers Who Hike! Enter the AMC Volunteer T-shirt Design Contest

What will you win?
If your design is selected for the 2014 shirt, you will receive a free week-long Volunteer Vacation in the White Mountains, Maine Woods, Baxter or Acadia in the 2014 season, as well as a shirt with your design on it!

Here's a fun contest that the AMC announced recently - you can help design the 2014 AMC Volunteer For Trails T-Shirts! There is no official "event" but I wanted to post it on our calendar so that our members are reminded of it beyond the initial email announcement.

Volunteer Hikers adopt sections of the AMC Trails.
We perform regular trail maintenance activities a few times a year and our members have participated in the annual National Trails Day and National Public Lands Day activities run by the AMC - where they give these shirts out.

Submit you drawing or design to the AMC Trails Department for a chance to see your entry on the 2014 T-Shirt. These T-shirts are given to over 2000+ AMC Trails Volunteers for their work on the trails each year. It could be your design or drawing on the back of every one!

Contest Information:

• Entries must be received by December 20, 2013

• Your entry is for the Back of the T-Shirt design.

• Size Limit for the design is: 14 inches X 14 inches.

• Submit your drawings or designs in one color ink and in actual size you would like it to appear on the T-Shirt (or as close to actual size as you would like).

• If you would like, specify the color T-Shirt and the color ink for your design.

• Remember that this design is used for all of our Volunteer trail Crew Programs (Volunteer Vacations, Adopt-A-Trail, Alpine Stewards, and Chapter Volunteer Trail Crews as well).

• Keep it clean – please make sure that your entries are appropriate for the program.
