BYC Social Meetup (Drinks and Networking)

Drinks and Networking.

A free flowing social event where young people from all over the Boston area and all kinds of creative fields come together to socialize, drink, have fun, or whatever they see fit.

Each event may have an agenda casually fit in, or it may not. I'll update the description if it will.

An Tua Nua features drink specials on the beers you'd expect, but also two pool tables and one foosball table. Their entire food menu consists of meatballs. It's actually pretty cool.
You can easily get to it via the Green Line - Kenmore Square T station. It's just an 8 minute walk.

Grafton Street Bar and Restaurant is located in Harvard Square right between the Oberon & Hong Kong. It's a very classy establishment but still has very well priced beer. We reserve the front area by the full length open windows.

I highly recommend signing up for our email list on our website:
Do that here.

Signing up for this email list instead of meetup will be beneficial for a few reasons.

  1. You get to hide all other meetup emails, cause you're not looking for ours anymore.
  2. You get a better looking email experience.
  3. We'll be sending out cooler updates via the BYC list more than through meetup.

Hey guys, I tested a Twitter engagement tool two days ago called Slingbot (http://www.slingbot.co/) to promote my blog and Vlog on Twitter. It worked pretty well and provided me with analytics for each of my campaigns. Does anyone know of other automated social media engagement tools out there to promote blogs?

It was a real good time, as always. We drank, we sang, we improvised Queen! Definitely looking forward to the next

I'm running late too. Should I change my RSVP to be safe from no-show punishment? I really do wanna attend though and will try my best.

    May 29, 2013

    • Dan L.

Usually only about half of the people actually show up, no need to change your RSVP.

Update: Harvard Graduation makes Harvard Square literally an insane mess of people. New location: Cambridge Brewing Company
Awesome bar near Kendall Square. Update your RSVP as needed. Sorry and thank you.

    2 · May 29, 2013

    • Corey Zev H.

Harvard Square is going to be just too big of a mess tonight. I sincerely apologize for the location change. I'll be working to prevent this from happening in the future by bringing people onto my team now that this is growing. Please come out and bring friends tonight. The numbers keep growing because people are having a good time.
