Join us for a lively reading and Q&A for the new book, Salaam, Love: American Muslim Men on Love, Sex & Intimacy
On the heels of the groundbreaking collection "Love InshAllah: The Secret Love Lives of American Muslim Women", comes the other side of the story. In this book, American Muslim men speak openly for the first time about their love lives, offering frank, funny, and insightful glimpses into their hearts-and bedrooms. Twenty-two writers from varied ethnic, racial and religious perspectives - including orthodox, cultural and secular Muslims - take us along as they search for love and passion. These honest and provocative stories reflect the strength and diversity of both their faith community and of America.
The event will feature editors Ayesha Mattu & Nura Maznavi, and writers Ahmed Akbar, Sam Pierstorff, & Dan I. Oversaw. Light refreshments will be served.
