Exploration Talk/Film: Inuit Eskimo's Way of Life Endangered by Climate Change

The Explorers Club hosts: Explorer Extraordinaire & Author Lawrence Millman. He will present a Talk + Film about "People of a Feather" . Which takes you to Hudson Bay, and to the subsistence-oriented Inuit who inhabit these remote chunks of rock.

Featuring footage from seven Arctic winters , the film depicts the unique cultural relationship between the Inuit and eider ducks. It also shows how this relationship is being compromised by climate change as well as hydroelectric projects on the mainland. In the end, the film ends up being about "man's place, and our role, in the entire life cycle."

He has hiked Siberia solo + countless more amazing adventures. He has a treasure trove of MANY Curious Tales of Adventure + Exploration to tell including "Reindeer Stoned on Mushrooms".
