Boston d3.js User Group Message Board › D3 tutorial slides / Job@Google / Meetup 22 Oct & Pizza Sponsors
Hi folks (and welcome new members),
If you missed it on Twitter yesterday, Jerome Cukier and Jeff Heer and Scott Murray taught a D3 intro course at IEEE Visweek in Seattle and posted their materials: http://www.jeromecukier.net/blog/2012/10/15/d3-tutorial-at-visweek-2012/ They include an awesome d3 cheatsheet with lots of SVG info.
Our meetup for next Monday, Oct 22 still has room! We need pizza sponsors -- step up and get a chance to pitch your company/open positions. http://www.meetup.com/Boston-d3-js-User-Group/events/83944092/

The fine print, for those who are interested:
* It's a fulltime position on-site at Google Boston (located,
confusingly, in Cambridge right next to the MIT Media Lab).
* The hiring process includes engineering interviews by
non-visualization folks, and it helps to be on cordial terms with
standard algorithm / data structure / software architecture stuff.
