Update: April 15th

We are getting close - this is going to be an awesome event!

I wanted to remind all of those signed up and those who are thinking about signing up to ensure you bring the following:

Tripod, Remote, Camera that has BULB mode.

For those without a remote trigger, I have one spare Canon and Joe has 2 spare Nikons. Also note that most DSLR cameras should have bulb mode, but please double check that yours does. If it does not have bulb mode, note that most of our shots in our test run were between 15-30 seconds, so it's not technically required.

Joe Makarski, a master of light painting, will be our guest instructor. Joe has a couple tool boxes full of light painting gear - quite frankly, it's insane - in the coolest possible way.

We'll spend 2-3 hours in the studio, trying various, creative light painting - combined with a model and creative lighting via studio strobes.

This session will cost $55 per person to help cover studio, model and Joe's time and materials. Members who have paid optional membership dues, will receive $10 off.

Because I am not collecting money up front, I ask that if for some reason you need to cancel - please be courteous and provide at least 24 hour notice.

Cash is preferred, however in a pinch, we can accept credit cards as well. Payment will be collected prior to the event beginning. I'd like folks to arrive a few minutes early so we may settle-up payments and get to shooting!

There are on street spots in the area - please be sure to pay attention to signs as parking in Allston resident designated spots could result in a ticket. There is also plenty of parking in the Stop & Shop lot next door - park there at your own risk - I park there quite frequently have never had a problem, but again, at your own risk.

Our model for this event is 'Ari' - I have linked below to her profile on Model Mayhem:

Joe, Myself and Ari just completed a test shoot , below is a shot from that shoot and something to look forward to for Saturday's shoot!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
