· If you miss us at Joy Street then try to find us at the Washington Street studio or keep going in the Trolley loop till you find us.

· Please make sure everyone catches the last Trolley to Joy St around 5PM so you don’t get left behind!

Here is the order --Updated offical SOS 2014 Social Fun Meetup path!

Start at #92 (Joy St Studios 86 Joy St) park, meet the group do intros and pick up free Trolley stop #A.

Off Trolley stop #D, hit #83 (Washington Street Art Center 321 Washington St, for 10 minutes)

Then walk to #81 (Artisan's Asylum at 10 Tyler St for 20 minutes). This is a newer Awesome Art Studio + you can take classes here..

Walk to the Trolley stop #E, get on Trolley to get off  at Trolley stop #F (We might walk if trolley run late)

Hit #64 highlighted on map called Somerville Museum (1 Westwood Rd). Stay at Somerville Museum Area for 15 minutes. It’s where Artist have 1 sample of their art work. Please take time to write down numbers of those Artists that interest you. Then decide if you will stay with the group or do the rest on your own. Art is meant to be fun, so you don’t have to stick with us the whole time!

Don’t forget to visit the Artists around the surrounding areas to not just the Somerville Museum. Like #63 Central Street Studios (57 Central Street) (this is another 15 minute stop). Get on at Trolley Trolley stop #F or walk

Get off at Trolley stop #G  (or walk) to see  #55 (Arts at The Armory 191 Highland Avenue) for 20 minutes. Also Coffee /snack/bathroom break.

Get on at Trolley Trolley stop #G and get off at Trolley stop #H and walk to #15. NOTE: we might get off at Trolley stop J if there is NO Traffic near Davis SQ.

Walk to #15 Mix it Print Studio 32 Clifton St (15 minutes). This is a great stop to relax outside and on the balcony on the 3rd floor.

Walk to #23  Blue Cloud Gallery (713 Broadway) for  color photographs and a special treat since Biagio has some of his art on display here. . Also, this will be a coffee/snack break area nextdoor.

Get on at Trolley stop #N.  Get off at Trolley stop #P.

Walk down to #53 Skunk Skunkadelia 75 Bartlett St. #2, has Robots, ray guns, rocket ships. It’s a house full of fun/ crazy cool bikers, but it’s my 2nd favorite stop of SOS! You’ll be amazed what in here, this is a must do for all!!!! (15 minute stop, due to walking)

Then walk back up Bartlett St., take a right onto Broadway and walk down to #50 Hilary Scott and his Eclectic Sculpture (9 Browning Road) Fantastic Machines & Creatures (it’s my 1st most favorite stop of SOS Must see)

Walk back to get on Trolley stop #P (on Broadway). Get off at Trolley stop #R.

Note: We Skipped #51 and #52 Vernon St Studios stops since we plan to come back here for 2 hours on Sunday (yes it is that big, over 50 Artist open here!) BUT NOTE: If you cannot go to Vernon St on Sunday then you should see Vernon St now on Saturday if you have time!

Trolley stop #R.  for  #100 (Gilman SQ) Mad Oyster Studios 2 Bradley St 23 Artists here. (20 minute stop)

Then walk to #99 Pearl Street Studios 226 Pearl Street  (nearby + 15 minute stop)

Back on the Trolley  at Trolley stop #R.  to end our day back at Trolley stop #A.

Enjoy #92 (Joy St Studios 86 Joy St) for 30 minute stop if you have any energy left.

Enjoy #91 Brickbottom Art Studios (1 Fitchburg St) down the street from Joy St Studios. By then you will pass out! lol

Disclaimer: Please realize there are 400 Artist to see in all. This would take you about 80 hours to see and I’m trying to fit this into 8 hours over 2 day. If you get tired and need to rest we’ll understand, but we will not wait too for you. I’ll try you budget in some rest stops. Saturday is a long day 6 hour day so please wear comfy shoes (Sneakers) and be prepared to walk a lotinside and outside!.... I realized we skip many of the cool, smaller Artists which sucks, but we only have time to see so many on Saturday. Plan on seeing Vernon St on Sunday for 2-3 hours and then if you have time hit the smaller Artists too. There is no set time for lunch, we’ll play it by ear and I’ll listen to any ideas, but it has to be quick lunch sorry. Lastly, take time to enjoy the art!

First this is a FREE event. There’ll be some free drinks (water, soda, juice, wine, beer etc.) and snacks available throughout the day provided by Artists in hopes you’ll spend more time looking at their art. It’s also to make your art experience even more enjoyable.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes as we’ll be doing a ton of walking both inside and out. Don’t forget to bring your camera. Weather is going to be nice. Partly Cloudy with a high of 65°F and a 20% chance of rain. Please bring a small back pack/bag to carry water and snacks (Granola/Power bar, fruit, veggies etc.) plus other stuff you might prick up through the day. Might want to bring an umbrella just incase! It’s going to be a long but awesome art day so get prepared for it mentally and physically! Enjoy life!
