Boston Cards and Conversation is the largest general gaming group in the Greater Boston area. We meet on a semi-regular basis at various locations in the Boston area to play games, chat, meet new friends, and have a lot of fun. You don't have to be an expert at any type of game to join. We're all about allowing people to get together with friends on a lazy day. At every event there is always the opportunity to learn something new. Our membership is amazingly diverse, with singles and couples of all ages and cultures. All are welcome.
Although members play some of the more popular card and board games, we'll regularly introduce international or not so well-known games at some events. Here are some of the games that have been played at our previous meetups:
45s * Apples to Apples * Backgammon * Bananagrams * Big Two * Bridge * Briscola * Canasta * Clue * Cribbage * Dominion * Escalation * Euchre * Guillotine * French Tarot * Hearts * Killer Bunnies * King's Corners * Magic: The Gathering * Mahjong * Pente * Poker * Quiddler * Rummy * Scattergories * Scopa * Scrabble * Scrabble Slam * Setback * Snatch-it * Spades * Tripoley * Uno * Whist
There's only one way to find out why we are so highly-rated. Join us! Questions? Check out our FAQ in the 'About' section.
So you've gotten together with the family, baked and eaten the turkey, and filled your stomach until you can't move. And then you're battling people with shopping carts while doing some holiday shopping. Now you're about to freak out!
Feeling tense? Let us take away the stress of the holiday weekend with some old and new friends at our favorite place in Melrose! Read more
