    Tamara,

I drive in myself from outside the area. I park inside the Alewife T station parking garage.

The max rate is $7 for the day. You now need to pay INSIDE the Alewife T station when you are ready to leave, rather than at the parking garage exit.

I don't know if there are any other parking spaces in the areas, but I am sure someone who lives local may be able to recommend other parking opportunities.

You can park in the lot for the Fresh Pond Mall or over by the movie theatre for free and then bike over the bridge that goes over tracks to Alewife. (Bike on the sidewalk when going over the bridge, not the road.)

Hi Barry I'm ok with 2 groups 16 mph could be a good first group pace and the second is 10mph. I think we can discuss this before we leave

Dan, Thanks. Of course at this time of the year, I fall right in the middle.

      April 19, 2013

    • Gail

It's not like you can get lost though. I doubt if everyone bikes exactly at 16mph or 10mph only. You can go at your own pace and I'm sure we'll meet at stopping points. I'm probably in the middle too.

I think Jarrett's idea of breaking the rides into 2 groups based on preferred pace might have merit. What would be a good pace to serve as the demarcation point?

    April 17, 2013

  • Jarrett S.

Any plans to segment the two rides by preferred pace?
