We'll talk about templates and how your template design choices affect site performance. We'll also talk about the caching and other options provided by EE, and discuss when and how to employ them.

Thanks Stuart and Marc! I'm cleaning up the slides a bit and will post them before the end of the day. Will anyone have a chance to research Snippets vs. Embedded Templates from a performance standpoint today? If so, I can incorporate what you find into the slides.

Hey guys, with Peter's link and some code poking, I took a look a wrote a forum post. http://www.meetup.com/BostonEErs/messages/boards/thread/9...

Turns out snippets can actually be pretty handy for some small speed gains because they allow you to bypass some embed overhead.
