Software Developer opportunity for startup building healthcare CRM
Friday, July 27, 2012 8:07 AM
We are an early stage startup building a healthcare CRM (Customer
Relationship Management) SAAS solution that helps patients to access
high quality health care services by connecting with their preferred
doctor at any point in time anywhere in the world.
For the initial launch we are targeting a small geographic region, but
eventually doctors and patients on a global scale will use this
portal. Twenty medical facilities have already committed to purchase
our service and we plan to be profitable from the launch date.
Our MVP (i.e. v1.0 product) consists of a Web portal and an Android
app. The Web portal will be build using JS-JQuery, Python-Django and
MySQL. The technology stack is not yet final and we are open to
suggestions. The core part of our product will be a universal search
engine (think about google search for healthcare search queries),
which uses heuristics based classifiers to identify the best results.
We are looking for a developer who is a self-starter with the ability
to build solutions in a short timeframe. Industry experience is not
required but you need to be very proficient in
programming/coding. Health care experience is not necessary because we
have a domain expert on our team.
You will be joining an elite team consisting of a physician
(MD), who gained global clinical experiences in Europe, Asia and
eventually at Johns Hopkins hospital. He received his masters in
public health from Johns Hopkins University. In addition, he worked on
international healthcare projects for the WHO and Harvard Business
School. Marcel is currently working as a management consultant for a
global company with a particular focus on healthcare topics. This work will
not only give you real world experience, but it will also give you an
opportunity to be a part of the founding team.
Apart from building a viable business with a global scope, we expect
our startup to have a considerable social impact in developing and
emerging countries by enabling healthcare providers to improve their
healthcare facility infrastructure.
Do not hesitate to contact me, if you have any questions.
